Corangamite council has launched a new website for you to share ideas and have your say
The new online platform is expected to streamline the process of providing council feedback for residents.

Corangamite Shire residents now have a new way to engage with council, without needing to attend a meeting or visit the office.
The council has launched the interactive website Conversations Corangamite, saying it offers a more accessible way for locals to stay informed and share feedback on council projects and issues.

“We want this to become a place people regularly visit to check in, share ideas, and stay informed,” mayor Kate Makin said in a statement.
The site includes project-specific pages as well as general community spaces like the Ideas Garden, where users can suggest initiatives, and the Conversation Patch, a forum for what it says will be respectful discussions.
There's also the Pin Playground, an interactive map where people can leave feedback tied to specific locations.
You don’t need to register to participate, but signing up gives access to updates and notifications. Comments can be anonymous, and the council says moderation will help keep the space safe and constructive.
Council Communications Coordinator Sarah Johnson said the site was designed to be accessible to all and includes real-time analytics to help staff better understand community sentiment.
