Watch: Eating eel arancini at the Tae Rak Aquaculture Centre and Cafe
The Brolga visited the WorldHeritage listed Budj Bim Cultural Landscape and tried out the cafe overlooking the shores of Lake Condah.

The Budj Bim Cultural Landscape is a World Heritage listed property in south west Victoria home to one of the oldest aquaculture systems in the world. The area's rich cultural history includes over 6,600 years where the Gunditjmara people harvested short-finned eels, or kooyang, caught in hand-woven baskets and cooked over fire or in smoking trees.
In 2022, the Tae Rak Aquaculture and Cafe opened on-site, featuring cultural tours and delicious food — featuring lots of eel.
Check out the video below for a peak at some of the food on offer from a recent visit by the Brolga.
