How fast are ambulances arriving in West Vic?
Latest figures show strong results in Warrnambool and Ballarat, but slower response times in other municipalities.

Warrnambool’s paramedic response times are among the fastest in the state, according to new data.
What happened? New figures from Ambulance Victoria show response times to the most urgent emergency calls remained steady or slightly improved across western Victoria in the final three months of 2025.
The statistics cover Code 1 incidents - emergencies requiring lights and sirens - between October 1 and December 31.
What are the results? Ballarat recorded 2,265 first responses, with paramedics arriving within 15 minutes 77.5 percent of the time. The average response time was 13 minutes 45 seconds.
Warrnambool attended 560 incidents, attending 82.1 percent within 15 minutes and achieving the region’s fastest average time of 12 minutes 38 seconds.
Ararat crews responded to 209 incidents, with 66 percent under 15 minutes and an average time of 17 minutes 5 seconds.
Colac Otway handled 321 incidents, recording 63.2 percent within 15 minutes and a 17 minute 42 second average.
Southern Grampians attended 197 incidents, reaching 56.3 percent within 15 minutes and averaging 19 minutes 45 seconds.
Some slower averages: Other rural areas recorded longer times. Corangamite responded to 247 incidents with 42.1 percent within 15 minutes and a 22 minute 3 second average.
Moyne attended 173 incidents, with 38.7 percent within 15 minutes and an average time of 20 minutes 28 seconds, while Golden Plains recorded 306 incidents, 29.1 percent within 15 minutes and a 22 minute 8 second average.
