WATCH: The 14-year-old Ballarat bagpiper blowing audiences away
Eden Johns has been piping since prep.

Meet 14-year-old Eden Johns, the newest major piper of the Ballarat Grammar school pipe band.
She’s been playing the bagpipes since age six.
Eden is the youngest of four siblings - and this type of music is something of a family tradition.
Eden’s older sister Aeron was the first to join the band as a piper - her brother Ethan also played snare percussion, and her sister Mason is currently a snare percussionist in the same band.
Eden grew up in Buninyong and boards at Ballarat Grammar. She travels across West Vic and the wider area to perform at local events, like Saturday’s Brolga Festival at Cororooke.
And this year, the bagpipes took her a lot further.
